Waterfalls of Istria
Are there any waterfalls in Istria? Hell yes... And certainly in a varying landscape such as Istria. if I had to count them out of my head then I would come to about 6 where I could drive to. But I even think there are many more. because a stream flows from every mountain. Such as, for example, if you take the Ucka in a row before the tunnel towards Rijeka, you will also come across a water source halfway. A water source with a taste like you have never tasted. If you have drunk this once, you will find a taste to every water in the bottle or tap. [Here you can find Voda Josipa 2] (https://goo.gl/maps/Jt8WPuZdAkmdtp189) because this number 2 should still be one but I have not found it yet.
Did you know that old people come to Istria to get water from certain sources? This is because the water is so natural and healthy
Let's start with the most famous waterfall that I have already mentioned in another blog:
I just wrote about this on this blog> The waterfall of Kotli. A very old environment where walking is really worth it. A very nice restaurant where you can eat and drink. But also a place to just have your own drink or food.
Zarecki Krov Waterfall (Pazin)
Pazin waterfall. This is quite a big waterfall and also so big that you can jump off it. A water polo competition is also held periodically at this waterfall. there is even a cord dancer during this local holiday. Also mountain climbers are often present here because you can practice upside down above the water when they climb into the cave. You can find the waterfall here
This waterfall is hardly accessible but a great location to visit to also walk there or to take on the challenge of coming down. The area shows that there must have been a lot of history around this location. After all, they don't build a bridge to nothing. may sound strange or strange to read. But when you visit this location you will also ask this question and perhaps solve the mystery. You can find the route here
By the roadside
This way you can see and encounter waterfalls at various locations along the road. For example, on the route from Rasa to Labin along the road you have water from This point. But even if you drive to Rijeka you will come across several. One before you enter the tunnel. Here but also one if you have just passed the 1st tunnel. [Here](https://goo.gl/maps/ 2sBGxY8twnGznJPB6). If you look around you will see a lot more and certainly also in the area of Buzet. Because that is where the water extraction area of Istria is located.
Walkway Draski Waterfall
It is actually no longer Istria, but I still want to name it. This is because he is worth mentioning. Nice region to drive but also a nice location for walking. This village is also known for the chestnuts. once you walk here you will see that immediately. To find this location look here

Sentonina staza Wasserfall
Are you really into the walk that you can take on your challenge here. You can approach this waterfall from 2 sides. The long (heavier) route goes from old Labin (I am still writing about this) to Rabac. If you go to this location you can take the stairs down to Rabac for years and if you see the soccer field of Rabac you go back along the water and after dozens meters you see the blue waterfall with a small pool where you can also go. This is really mountain water so cold :).
If you are not out for a walk you can also take the short route. Then you drive to Rabac and then to the football field or click here for the route and there is enough (free) parking space. you can follow the walking route along the football field and walk straight to the waterfall.
